G-7 farm ministers meeting in Miyazaki, Japan agreed on a communique with all of the usual window dressing. They worry about food security, the impact of the war in Ukraine, and they want to help developing countries. They even came up with a separate list of “Miyazaki Actions” that call for “diversifying supply chains by exploring ways to enhance local, regional and global food systems.” Somehow, they left out interstellar food systems.
