CBOT markets were mixed to end the week with wheat and soybeans finding strength while corn quietly traded sideways. The ongoing harvest that now faces better (i.e., dry and cold) weather for the next seven days should accelerate cash grain sales.  The U.S. and China are apparently making continued progress on a trade deal, with China’s state-owned news agency today reporting that the countries “conducted serious and constructive discussions” on the remaining issues.
