General Comments After yesterday's big losses grain and soy futures rebounded during overnight e-trade and during the day session. Support came from Spain's successful auction of 10-year bonds. All of the bonds offered were sold, and more were wanted by potential buyers. The rate was 5.7 percent, which is up 0.4 percent from April but well below where they were trading in the secondary market a few days ago. Financial markets had feared that today's auction might be poorly received after news that Spanish banks have nearly exhausted the low-cost three-year loans they received from the ECB, most of which was spent buying Spanish government debt.
