USDA will put up its first 2012/13 U.S. production estimates based on an actual survey of initial planting intentions plus trend line yields that could be massaged by yield assumptions based on one of the earliest planting seasons on record. Whatever the precise numbers turn out to be, they will project a very large 2012 corn crop.
