General Comments Corn and soy markets tried hard to make it a "Turnaround Tuesday." Prices firmed slightly in overnight trade, and this continued into the day session before another round of long liquidation by non-commercials sent corn and soybean prices back into the red. Corn wound up closing down a few cents, but some soybean contracts scratched their way back to the green side to provide mixed closes with just small changes from yesterday's closes. And again, some end-user pricing was noted near session lows in both soybeans and corn, but it was not enough to counter the selling.
