General Comments Overnight trading in grain and soy futures was quiet and without much direction. Dalian soybean futures posted losses following yesterday's U.S. market slide, which followed the cancellation of soybean sales to China and unknown destinations probably related to China. Early day session trading was mixed with wheat futures supported by GASC's purchase of 180,000 MT of SRW for mid-February shipment. Separately, USDA also announced a sale of 110,000 MT of HRW to Egypt.However, March corn soon dropped below the November low of $7.10 on the continuous chart, and this triggered an onslaught of technical selling that had the corn market challenging support in the $7.00-7.05 range.
