General Comments Without the drag from the general downdraft from outside financial markets and commodity prices as seen yesterday, it was "Turnaround Tuesday" for grains and the soy complex today. Prices rebounded across the board, led by old crop soybean and corn contracts. Many commodity markets closed higher today after yesterday's declines, but the bounce in grain and soy values outshone most other commodity markets. The Dow regained 158 of the 265 points it lost yesterday. Gold's recovery was comparatively weak, with that market able to pick up only $26 versus its $140 loss yesterday.
