The latest rain system is moving eastward out of the Corn Belt today. This is followed by a couple of cool, dry days before another system moves from the Eastern Plains southeast with widespread rain over the Delta and southern Corn Belt this coming weekend. The rest of the Belt will enjoy drier and warmer days before another cold front spreads more rain during 2-4 May.
