General Comments The overnight e-session saw prices for the grains and soybeans trade modestly higher as prices crawled back up off yesterday's lows. However, volume was barely average and the rally effort lacked enthusiasm. That lack of enthusiasm carried over to the day session during which soybeans and wheat held onto overnight gains, but corn gave them up and closed lower. Basically, it was a dull session with slender volume.The next few days should see warm, dry conditions over much of the Midwest. This should allow the corn harvest to expand, and permit the barely started soybean harvest to pick up as well.
