Signs indicate that demand for old crop corn remains brisk, and corn exports are holding to a level that appears to justify USDA's latest estimate of 1.75 billion bushels. General Comments There are some interesting dynamics involving grain and soy futures price action so far this week. After the long weekend, grain and soy markets took a lashing on Monday. Since that day's close, however, CME July wheat is up 7.25 cents and July corn has gained 15.75 cents, but July soybeans have dropped 22.5 cents. In that same period, November soybeans have gained less than 4 cents, a modest change, but at least a positive one compared to sinking old crop prices.
