Grain futures prices were under pressure during much of today's trading, while soybean prices traded on both sides before closing mixed with old crop August up 8.25 cents and new crop November down 1.5 cents. General Comments The U.S. Federal Reserve's Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) July meeting concluded today with a statement that again emphasized an improving U.S. economy thanks to a better job market, an improved housing market and increased consumer spending.
