Market Commentary

The day session saw trading volume fade some as the market tried to hang onto yesterday’s gains. There was more fund short covering in wheat, and those markets were up about 5-6 cents at one point. General Comments Yesterday’s robust trading volume carried over into last night’s session with soybeans, corn and wheat all participating. What did not carry over was the generally bullish tone. Grains and the soy complex traded both sides in relatively narrow ranges, and prices were not much changed when trading recessed.
