Most of the market talk today was about upcoming harvest pressure (or perhaps the lack thereof) in corn and soybeans. KC and Chicago wheat futures couldn’t hold any gains as a result of some strength in those markets. General Comments Markets were firm overnight, and the highlight was soybean futures pushing right up against long-term major technical resistances at $9.80 in the November contract. Then the highlight of today’s session was that they finally pushed through $9.80 and traded as high as $9.87.
