While people are hopeful a deal is close, they won’t trade that until it is done. Weather remains a very real problem across the Corn Belt and northern Plains (see today’s separate analysis). USDA’s WASDE (supply and demand) for May will be released a week from today, and it will be the first issue that will separate China from the rest of the world.
