Markets were steady to lower overnight in very light volume. Weekly export sales, delayed a day because of last Monday’s holiday, came in about as expected. There were no daily sales announced today. Meanwhile, the U.S. is on the eve of big corn and soybean harvests. The super wet parts of the central and western U.S. Corn Belt should start to dry out. Some parts of Iowa have received more than eight inches of rain in the past week. Weather patterns around the world haven’t changed with dry regions remaining mostly dry and Argentina/southern Brazil in need of rain.
