There was modest to lower volume generally today, except in wheat where there was a gang beating. Wheat closed lower in the overnight, opened lower this morning, and sealed the deal with losses at the close. Soyoil was treated similarly but soybeans and corn each were higher in the overnight and at the open, but then quickly followed wheat lower. For the week: Wheat took a beating. It was a heavier downturn for soybeans and soyoil as well. Soymeal eked out a small gain.  Lean hogs had a second week in a row higher.  Crude oil fell 6.8 percent.
