The U.S. Energy Information Agency (EIA) reported that ethanol output last week was down 3.1 percent to 1.02 million barrel per day, and that ethanol stocks were down a little over one percent to 25.78 million barrels. The agency also noted that gasoline production in the week to 8 March jumped higher at the same time that oil inventories fell as refineries recovered from maintenance procedures.
