It showed speculators have increased their net short position in wheat by 11.5 percent to 58,482 contracts; cut their net long position in corn by 22 percent to 153,241 contracts; and cut their net long position in soybeans by 2.5 percent to 55,763 contracts. USDA’s weekly Grain Inspections report was also released and was mixed.
