The CBOT was mostly in the red to finish the week, except for spring wheat futures and the livestock complex. Grains and oilseeds opened higher but political news for biofuels quickly sent soyoil and soybeans sharply lower. Continued forecasts of cool, wet weather for the Midwest prompted fund liquidation that kept the major markets on the defensive.
