Overnight trade produced mixed results for grain and soy prices. Soybeans were down, winter wheat was up slightly, and corn was about unchanged after December corn hit a new contract low of $3.355. Trading volume was no better than average. Prices firmed somewhat early during the day session, and corn and winter wheat prices stayed that way through the close. However, soybeans slipped below yesterday’s closes to finish down by small fractions. Soymeal did close $1.00-1.50 higher, but soyoil finished with a small loss of 4-7 points.
