The overnight trade featured largely steady pricing activity with January soybeans, March corn and March wheat posting slight gains. The upward momentum did not carry over into the day session, however, and all three commodities came under pressure with wheat forging a new contract low. The weather in Argentina, the darling of the grains/oilseeds markets for weeks now, is finally expected to turn wetter past 17 December.
