Corn Argentina’s corn planting is 94 percent completed across the expected 6.3 million hectares (Mha). Recent rains in the center and north of the country have resulted in modest crop rating improvements, but some areas are still suffering from drought.   Now that the corn planting is nearly complete, there are interesting trends to analyze. The total planted area will be 150,000-200,000 hectares lower than last year, with decreases in the center and northern parts country.
