Corn The weather continues to give no respite for Argentina’s corn crop. The country is experiencing a heat wave with few precedents at a time of relentless drought no predicted rains. Both crop conditions and moisture conditions continue to deteriorate week by week. Presently, 63 percent of the crop is rated as growing in poor/dry moisture conditions and 56 percent of the crop is in poor/very poor condition (with 38 percent fair). Many farmers are shredding their corn plots to use for animal feed (something that will also be scarce).
