Regional Updates Argentina’s Rumored Corn and Wheat Taxes Rumors of an increase in wheat and corn export taxes appeared in Argentina this week. There are talks of increasing the tax from 12 to 24 percent for 90 days. So far, these are just rumors. The government can only increase it to 15 percent by decree, and any increase above that will have to pass through the Congress.
