Corn Last week was shortened by holidays but the FAS market moved higher once again. Exporters are present in the market and are bidding for different deliveries. Farmers are either harvesting or are close to starting their harvest and continue to make sales to ensure logistics. They are finding bids on deliveries for all months through November 2021 and prices are attractive. Last week started with FAS prices $5/MT weaker but after the bullish USDA reports, prices rallied $8/MT to $203/MT (50K FOB equivalent) for spot through full-May deliveries.  The weekly harvest progress was below 1 percent of planted area as most fields where corn is ready for harvest have high soil moisture levels due to last week’s rains.
