Corn Argentina’s corn market keeps breaking records. June ended with corn exports of 4.3 MMT, by far the highest ever. The accumulated volume exported since the beginning of the campaign (starting in March 2020) reached 16.3 MMT -11 percent above the prior year while the value of corn exports increased just 8 percent due to lower FOB prices.  The past campaign ended with total exports of 37.2 MMT and WPI expects this year’s exports to be the same or slightly higher. Our view is that the extremely big vessel line ups to date might be compensated by smaller shipments later in the crop year.
