Regional Update Argentina Political and Macroeconomic Situation The Argentine economy had a very complicated week last week. While the official exchange rate remains stable (approximately 130 ARS/USD) the alternative rates (financial dollars and blue dollar) rose to 320-330 ARS/USD. The recent change of the Minister of Economy did not bring certainty and economic policy is still unclear while the central bank is broken, and inflation is rampant.
