Argentina’s Weather The weather remains a recurring issue in Argentina. The lack of rainfall across much of the country's agricultural region is starting to impact both the wheat crop, currently in its yield-defining stages, and the sowing of summer crops. Precipitation anomaly maps for August and September show that a large part of the country received rainfall well below normal. In fact, the northern core region, Córdoba, parts of Santa Fe, and the northern areas of the country received no rain during September. Forecasts suggest that rains may return only during the week of 5 October 2024, but only in some regions. The most drought-stricken areas are not expected to receive any relief.
