Wheat Exporters have already bought 8 MMT of the 2021/22 crop, out of an export surplus that should be at least 12 MMT, given a 21-MMT crop. Over the past few weeks, they have declared exports sales regularly until the total registered volume reached 9 MMT about 10 days ago. Since then, no firm has registered a single kilogram of additional export sales declarations. Is this a coincidence? WPI doesn’t think so.
