Mercosur Regional Analysis

Low demand is the main reason for the lack of movement in Argentina's FOB corn market, and there are a few factors causing domestic and Brazilian consumers/buyers to wait for a bigger drop in premiums or even the flat price. Soybeans Argentina The Argentine harvest was 70 percent completed at the end of last week, up 17 percent from the previous week and 15 percent ahead of last year’s pace. More than 13 million hectares have been harvested so far, totaling approximately 43.4 MMT with a national average yield of 3.34 MT/hectare. Despite the lower average yield, some regions are reporting theirs as still above average. Infrastructure investment due diligence

On behalf of a Canadian oilseed processer WPI's team provided market analysis, econometric modeling and financial due diligence in support of a $24 million-dollar investment in a Ukrainian crush plant. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment. WPI has conducted parallel work on behalf of U.S., South American and European clients, both private and public, in the agri-food space.
