News Updates EGYPT UPDATE The Egyptian government announced that the final amount of its wheat purchases from the local market is at 3.8 MMT, up slightly from its original estimate a few weeks ago. Meanwhile, discussions between the IMF and the government regarding the $3 billion in financing are currently running at a slow pace because the new government does not yet have all its new staff and officials in place. According to the government, the full list of cabinet ministers will be announced before the end of this week, about one month after the election victory.
