Punjab provides 26,000 MT of wheat daily for subsidized production and says that striking mills are not “patriotic” and that non-striking mills can easily supply all the subsidized wheat flour needs.  Pakistan’s soybean imports are forecast to drop dramatically this year due to the GMO restriction on importation, according to the local USDA-FAS office.
