Regional Updates MEDITERRANEAN/MIDDLE EAST/NORTH AFRICA  Algeria’s change in wheat specifications for bug damage should allow Black Sea exporters to apply to be certified suppliers to Algeria. The change in bug damage – up from 0.1 percent to 0.5 percent only affects 12.5 percent protein wheat – 11 percent protein wheat bug damage remains at 0.1 percent.  Also, from Algeria is word that Russian grain exporters will be allowed to apply to become certified suppliers to Algeria. Interested exporters need to supply the correct documents by 31 October to be considered for the approved companies list as of 1 December 2020. Forecasting developments in production agriculture
