Regional Updates MEDITERRANEAN/MIDDLE EAST/NORTH AFRICA/AFRICA – MEA REGION Turkey, Iran, Egypt, Israel, and South Africa are target countries in the region for India’s wheat export program in 2022. In 2021 the main region importers of Indian wheat were Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and UAE. Total wheat exports by India in 2022 could be as high as 10 MMT. Experts say that this level of exports could be very difficult for India due to limited bulk grain storage and export facilities. Egypt will send a wheat import delegation to India this week in the hopes of facilitating wheat imports. Infrastructure investment due diligence

On behalf of a Canadian oilseed processer WPI's team provided market analysis, econometric modeling and financial due diligence in support of a $24 million-dollar investment in a Ukrainian crush plant.
