The issue with some of these very minor crops is that it doesn't take much of an increase or decrease in acreage to have a major impact on prices.We get so wrapped up thinking and worrying about corn, soybean and wheat acres that we sometimes forget that U.S. farmers have many other cropping alternatives, especially across the Northern Plains.
