Soybean Condition Declines, But Not as Much as Corn Yesterday's USDA report on the conditions of U.S. soybeans and corn indicated the condition of soybeans in the 18 states surveyed declined as expected. The share of soybeans rated as good or excellent fell from 40 percent to 34 percent, while the share rated as poor or very poor increased from 27 percent to 30 percent. In the last two weeks the share of soybeans rated as good or excellent has declined from 45 percent to 34 percent and the amount rated poor or very poor has fallen from 21 percent to 30 percent.
