Soybean Crop Condition Down Slightly, Still Good Yesterday's USDA crop progress and condition report indicated there was a 1 percent drop in the combined good and excellent categories for the current soybean crop. At the same time there was a 1 percent increase to 7 percent in the poor category. The report indicated 63 percent of the U.S. soybean crop is rated as good or excellent and only 9 percent is rated as poor or very poor.
