Paraguay President Vetoes Export Taxes on Soybeans, Corn and Wheat The President of Argentina today vetoed the legislation passed by the congress that would have imposed a 10 percent export tax on soybeans, corn and wheat. President Horacio Cartes said that even if the tax, "...would increase government revenue over the short term, it could work against economic growth over the medium and long term."
