Oilseed Highlights

India's soybean processors are struggling to supply the domestic poultry and aquaculture markets with soymeal as they cannot source enough supplies. USDA Reports Soybean Plantings to Rise 6.5 Percent As expected, yesterday's USDA Prospective Plantings report found U.S. farmers intend to plant more soybeans in 2014. It indicated that soybean plantings this year will reach 81.493 million acres, a 6.5 percent rise over last year's plantings of 76.533 million acres and the most ever. The only states not found in the survey with increased plantings this year are Missouri, Oklahoma and Virginia.
