Argentina Makes Big Changes to Agricultural Export Taxes Argentine President Mauricio Macri yesterday announced major changes to agricultural export taxes. These revisions are part of a major effort to balance the country’s budget and prevent a further decline in the value of the peso. Effective immediately, all exports of primary products, including wheat, soybeans, soymeal, soyoil, sunflower seed and sunflower products, will be subject to a new tax of 4 pesos per USD of export value.
