Weekend Rains Received in Some Areas of Argentina After months of essentially no rainfall, 1-2 inches (2.5–5 cm) were received in parts of Argentina over the weekend. This was largely confined to southeastern Cordoba, northern Santa Fe and northern Buenos Aires Provinces. There was very little rain in central and southern Buenos Aires Province where crop conditions were the worst. However, more precipitation is expected later this week. While the rains were certainly welcome in the drought-stricken areas, they likely will do very little to help yields. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment.
