U.S. Soy Export Sales Exporters of U.S. soybeans and soy products must have been somewhat disappointed with today’s USDA export sales report, which indicated last week’s sales for all thee commodities were below the past four-week average. Net soybean export sales for 2017/18 shipment totaled only 371,300 MT, 63 percent below the last four-week average. The sales were primarily to Indonesia (133,300 MT), the Netherlands (82,000 MT), Mexico (53,000 MT), Taiwan (26,400 MT) and Japan (22,000 MT). Sales for shipment in 2018/19 totaled 166,500 MT, mostly to unknown destinations (109,000 MT) and Mexico (39,900 MT).
