An Excellent Week for U.S. Soy Export Sales Today’s USDA export sales report showed last week was very good for U.S. soybeans, soymeal and soyoil. Soymeal sales were particularly positive, a possible sign of importers’ concerns about the availability of Argentine meal that could continue for the remainder of the current marketing year and the next. Net soybean export sales for the current marketing year totaled 1,133,000 MT, almost three times the amount of the previous week. The top destinations were unknown destinations (610,400 MT), China (137,000 MT), Bangladesh (108,300 MT), the Netherlands (76,300 MT) and Taiwan (59,100 MT).
