Soy Export Sales Highlights The week ending 21 January was not a particularly good one for new export sales of soybeans, soymeal, and soyoil. However, it was a good one for exports of the three commodities. Net export sales of soybeans for export in 2020/21 totaled only 466,000 MT mainly because of reductions in sales to unknown destinations. The largest sales were for China (322,500 MT), Mexico (197,800 MT), Indonesia (165,300 MT), Egypt (89,700 MT), and Taiwan (72,100 MT). Reductions in sales to unknown destinations totaled 620,000 MT. Infrastructure investment due diligence
On behalf of a Canadian oilseed processer WPI's team provided market analysis, econometric modeling and financial due diligence in support of a $24 million-dollar investment in a Ukrainian crush plant. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment. WPI has conducted parallel work on behalf of U.S., South American and European clients, both private and public, in the agri-food space.
