Soy Export Sales Highlights Last week was a good one for exporters of U.S. soybeans and a fairly good one for soymeal exporters, according to today’s USDA export sales report. Net sales of soybeans in the week ending 27 August totaled 88,100 MT for 2019/20 and 1,762,800 MT for shipment in 2020/21. The top sales for 2019/20 were China (83,300 MT), the Netherlands (69,600 MT), Germany (56,800 MT), Bangladesh (55,000 MT), and Japan (22,800 MT). Those sales and others were partially offset by reductions to unknown destinations of 212,000 MT. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment.
