Soy Export Sales Highlight As expected, the week ending 23 July was a very good one for exporters of U.S. soybeans and a so-so week for exporters of U.S. soymeal. However, the current week has not been as good. Net soybean export sales last week totaled 257,800 MT for 2019/20 shipment and 3,344,200 MT for shipment in 2020/21. WPI’s methodology included a series of interviews with regional grain elevators and seed consultants. Emphasizing outreach and communication with stakeholders who possess intimate sectoral knowledge – on-the-ground insights – is a regular component of WPI’s methodologies, made possible by WPI’s ever-growing network of industry contacts.
