Huge U.S. Soybean Export Sales Last Week Today’s USDA/FAS export sales report for the week ending 17 September indicated exporters sold a huge amount of soybeans for export. Sales of soymeal also were positive. Net soybean export sales totaled 3,194,700 MT. The last time more soybeans were reported sold in a single week was in the week ending 1 September 2016 when exporters reported selling 3,766,583 MT. Last week’s sales were well above the predictions of analysts queried by Reuters. Weighing in on strategic realignment
WPI’s team was retained by the governing board of a U.S. industry organization to review a decision, reached by vote, to invest significant assets into the development and management of an export trading company. WPI’s team conducted a formal review of this decision and concluded that the current level of market saturation would limit the benefits of the investment.
