U.S. Soy Export Sales Highlights Today’s USDA/FAS export sales report indicated that in the week ending 21 October, exporters of U.S. soybeans and soymeal were less successful making export sales of the two commodities than in previous weeks. Sales of unprocessed soybeans were down by 59 percent and soymeal export sales were down by 33 percent. Soyoil export sales were up from the previous week, but the quantity was only 14,600 MT. Net soybean export sales last week totaled 1,183,400 MT. The top sales were for China (1,081,000 MT), the Netherlands (117,800 MT), Mexico (93,900 MT), Taiwan (71,600 MT), and Pakistan (69,000 MT).
