Larger U.S. Soymeal Export Sales Last Week Today’s USDA/FAS export sales report indicated exports of soybeans and soyoil continued to be seasonally low, but sales of soymeal were much higher than in previous weeks. U.S. soymeal is increasingly competitive with Brazilian soymeal and that has resulted in a pickup in export sales. USDA indicated net sales of U.S. soybeans in the week ending 17 June totaled 141,700 MT for shipment in 2020/21 and only 47,300 MT for shipment in 2021/22. The top sales for 2020/21 shipment were for Japan (83,700 MT), Indonesia (66,200 MT), China (66,000 MT), Malaysia (9,300 MT), and Vietnam (8,900 MT).
