Organic Backfire

Sales of foods labeled as "non-GMO" have apparently skyrocketed, much to the chagrin of organic food producers.

Peggy Lowe of National Public Radio (NPR) notes that sales of foods labeled as "non-GMO" have skyrocketed, much to the chagrin of organic food producers. Apparently, those sales are coming at their expense. Ms. Lowe notes that consumers believe they are obtaining the "health halo" of better food with non-GMOs without the higher expense of organic.
